February 12th is President Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. This special birthday is also shared by our founder, Abraham Elenowitz. The birthday and name shared by the Abrahams is, oddly enough, purely coincidence. His mother was an immigrant from Poland and was not aware of the significance of the day he was born. She just liked the name Abraham!

 Abe Elenowitz shared qualities with the great president, such as, high moral standards and generosity.  He also grew up in a poor family and grew his business through hard work and perseverance in an ever-changing industry.

About Lincoln Line: What’s in a name?  Lincoln Line is based out of New York, not Lincoln Nebraska or Illinois (home of Abe Lincoln).  Our founder, Abraham Elenowitz shares a birthday with Abraham Lincoln, which is how he came to the name, Lincoln Line.  The shared birthday and name are, oddly enough, pure coincidence.  Abe Elenowitz’ mother was an immigrant from Poland and was not aware of the significance of the day he was born.  She just liked the name Abraham!  Abe Elenowitz reflected a lot of similar qualities as the great president.  He had high moral standards and a hard-working nature.  He also grew up in a poor family, as Lincoln did, and he grew his business from a couple of roller-skating key chains, in 1960, to a major player in the promotional products industry today.
